It has been a while…I know. Someone up there has been pampering me a lot lately, that there has been no time for anything else. There have been surprises, laughter, fun and excitement snowballing for the past few weeks. They have been accelerating and infecting everyone on its way. Four silver cars paraded outside the crowded streets of Kathmandu and headed towards Royal Beach Camp. As sixteen pairs of feet stepped out on the warm silk-like sands, squeals of pleasure escaped the lush hills that surrounded this tiny illusion-of-a-beach.
A moonlit night, a campfire, some delicious barbequed chicken, plenty of drinks, a guitar and sixteen merry people; one can imagine the outcome of such a mix. Nature was the sole witness to the madness that followed that night.
However, rafting on Trishuli was the highlight of the trip. The green waters, amazing rapids, spontaneous games and swimming in the river felt exhilarating. While, staring at fear from such close proximity was insanely thrilling. So intoxicated I am by this thrill that I want to plan another trip soon. Want to sign-up?
